Proceeds from the final New York show were donated to AMFAR totalling $300,000.
Because of a throat problem, 4 shows were cancelled.
In Toronto police threatened to arrest Madonna if she did not change her Like a Virgin segment...Madonna refused but was never arrested.

The Girlie Show required 1500 costumes for the cast and a 24-hour set-up time for the enourmous stage.
Orthodow Jews in Israel staged protests to cancel the show because of nudity and lewd content without success. However, a German show was cancelled due to "staging" problems and not due to a political pressure to boycott the show.

Madonna arrived 2-hours late to her DC show on 8/10 when her plane was delayed due to terrible weather conditions which caused massive flooding in DC.
